To run DSM server, DSM requires its internal database tables to which it stores various information.
DSM also requirs some connection information about how it activates transport protocol and allows access from clients.
This information is required at the time of DSM startup, so you have to follow the following steps before you start DSM server.
As the information you entered in the following will be persisted and stored in the database tables,
you don't have to do configuration setup everytime you start DSM server. But when you need to change the information, you still need to setup configuratio again.
Run dsmwebconfig.exe to start configuration wizard
Once you installed the DSM server package, you can find the DSM configuration wizard executable under $INSTALL_DIR/WebConfigure/ directory.
If you have checked the "Data SyncManager Configure" option at the end of the DSM installation, the installation wizard automatically executes this configuration wizard.
